Craig has been involved in Vietnam for over 25 years. In 2005 he moved to Vietnam as an investment director and Head of Private Equity for Prudential Vietnam (now Eastspring), and led several notable investments. Prior to Prudential, Craig was a founding member of Standard Chartered Private Equity team, and in the 1990s ran a management consulting firm across Indochina. From 2010 to 2018 he was a managing partner and co-CEO of CapAsia, a private equity manager, investing across Asia’s emerging markets.
Craig joined with Thinh in early 2018 to co-lead the establishment of Dynam Capital.
Craig has a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of York, UK, and a MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
Thinh has managed the Vietnam Holding portfolio since 2011.
He has over 30 years’ experience in Vietnam including 14 years in Asset Management, 12 years in Corporate Restructuring and 7 years consulting. Thinh was Head of the Management Consulting practice of KPMG Vietnam where he did extensive restructuring work with several state owned enterprises.
Thinh was a founder member and former chairman of the Vietnam Institute of Directors and is a respected and leading proponent of Corporate Governance among the Vietnamese business community.
Thinh holds an MBA from Washington State University and a BS degree in Mathematical Economics from Hanoi National Economic University. He is a Certified Asset Management Practitioner in Vietnam.
Joe joined the board of Dynam Vietnam Fund Limited in November 2022 and the board of Dynam Capital, Ltd. in October 2024 as a Non- Executive Director. He also sits on the boards of a portfolio of other general partners and regulated open and closed-ended collective investment schemes and unregulated investment vehicles domiciled in Guernsey.
Prior to becoming a full time Non-Executive Director, Joe spent twenty-five years working at PWC, Kleinwort Benson, Carey Group and Trident Trust in roles including audit, financial control, operations, business development and fund administration.
Joe holds a Master’s (Honours) degree in French and Hispanic Studies (Latin American) from the University of Aberdeen. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds the Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
Ken has been working and living in Vietnam for over 30 years and Asia for over 40 years. His initial career was in banking where he was in charge of project finance and restructuring until he set up his own business in 1983.
He was the founder of Grant Thornton Vietnam in 1993 and remained in charge of the firm until 2019.
He now serves as an Independent Director for several companies in Vietnam.
Mr. Thanh has nearly 10 years of experience in the banking and finance industry in Vietnam, including seven years in asset management and more than two years in the banking industry. He started his career at LienVietPostBank as a corporate banking officer. He joined Vietnam Holding Asset Management in 2011 as an analyst and was promoted to manager in 2014. He spent one year at Dragon Capital as a senior banking analyst. In late 2017, he worked at Pavo Capital as a Senior Investment Manager to cover IPOs and pre-listing investment opportunities.
Mr. Thanh is a CFA Charterholder. He holds a Masters degree from Clark University, Massachusetts and a BA in Finance from Can Tho University, Vietnam.
